East Coast Surfers!
The East Coast Surfers finally won a championship after having lost in 4 previous attempts. Oddly enough, this was perhaps the worst team ECS has ever sent to the playoffs (7-7 regular season record and a 6th seeded team). Nonetheless, in an unusual first round of playoffs where all 4 games were won by the lower 5th through 8th seeded teams, ECS advanced to the championship game for perhaps the easiest championship game ever defeating the 8th seeded and lowest scoring team in the '07 MAFFL season GFISH by a score of 87.31 - 66.80
